Nancy Dolman was born in Ontario Canada in 1952 and married fellow Canadian Short in 1980. The pair met while working together in a production of “Godspell.” Together they are parents to Katherine, 27, Oliver, 24, and Henry, 20.

First Paul Gray, bassist for Slipknot died of an overdose. Then Brittany Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack was found dead, possibly by accidental prescription drug overdose and today the world lost child star / grown up mess Gary Coleman.

Gary Coleman, the child star of the smash 1970s TV sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes” whose later career was marred by medical and legal problems, has died after suffering an intercranial hemorrhage. He was 42.

Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Janet Frank said life support was terminated and Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. MDT. Coleman, with his sparkling eyes and perfect comic timing, became a star after “Diff’rent Strokes” debuted in 1978. He played the younger brother in a pair of African-American siblings adopted by a wealthy white man.

RIP Gary.

Paul Gray, the bassist from the band Slipknot, was found dead in a hotel in Iowa this morning … this according to local police.
According to the Urbandale Police Dept, an employee at the hotel found Gray’s body in his room early this morning.Cops say they found no evidence of foul play at the scene, but there will be an investigation into Gray’s death

Firefighters responding to an emergency call found British screenwriter Simon Monjack dead at the Hollywood Hills residence, police spokesman Sgt. Louie Lozano said. The preliminary cause of the 39-year-old Monjack’s death is natural causes, he told The Associated Press.

“We concluded there no signs of foul play or any criminal activity involved,” said Sgt. Alex Ortiz, another police spokesman.

It’s always natural causes isn’t it? More details as they emerge….

Maybe he really loved her and pined himself to death like a dog or an elderly person. Grandparents always seem to pass away within months of each other too.

I grew up with The Coreys so this news is pretty sad for me. When will the madness stop? Not that CH was some brilliant artist that could have changed the world..but damn….its so freakin senseless.

Police tell us they were called to St. Joseph’s hospital in Burbank, CA shortly before 4AM PT to investigate. Haim shot to fame in the 80s — when he co-starred in a number of films, including “The Lost Boys,” with Corey Feldman. Haim reportedly suffered a drug-induced stroke in 2001 and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center.

CNN just confirmed that Andrew Koenig’s body was found in a Vancouver park Thursday afternoon.

Actor Andrew Koenig, missing since February 14, was found dead in Vancouver, British Colombia, Thursday, a source close to the family told CNN. The body of the former “Growing Pains” star was found in a park, according to the source, who spoke to Koenig’s father after Koenig was informed of the discovery.

Andrew’s parents said they received a letter from him last week in which their son wrote in a “despondent tone” and that he had stopped taking medication for his depression about a year ago.

Koenig appeared in 25 episodes of “Growing Pains” from 1985 to 1989, playing Richard “Boner” Stabone, according to a filmography posted on the Internet Movie Database Web site. He also appeared in episodes of several other television shows.

She died in L.A. We’re told the body was discovered this morning. Of course no one knows cause of death yet, but after reading a bit about her, I’m pretty sure it will end up being a drug overdose.

She was 30 years old. Her father is Woody Johnson – owner of the New York Jets. Johnson was arrested in November for grand theft — the alleged victim was a former girlfriend.

Johnson was reportedly engaged to Tila Tequila. We spoke with Tila a few minutes ago. She says they were fighting last week and that Casey stayed at Tila’s house on the 28th. Tila tried contacting Casey on the 29th because Casey had left her dogs behind. Tila says Casey’s phone has been shut off since the 29th and she was not able to make contact.

I remember thinking when this chick ended up with Tila that she was wacked out and the end was near.

The troubled screen siren and singer went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday and could not be revived, according to a hospital spokeswoman. When paramedics arrived just after 8 a.m., they immediately began administering CPR and rushed her to nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m., a Cedars-Sanai spokeswoman said.

Murphy became a household name among teens in 1995 as the sidekick in “Clueless” but her best work came later in 8 MIle, Sin City, Don’t Say A Word and Girl Interrupted. She played the messed up chick like nobody’s business.

But the past few years Brittany’s acting career has all but dead…then comes in “the husband” and the real trouble starts. Most people have believed that Brittany was involved with drugs for a long time.

After appearing underweight with super-plump lips in the last few years, rumors have swirled about drug use and plastic surgery. Last month, Murphy’s husband of two years, Simon Monjack, was rushed to a hospital after his plane landed at Los Angeles Airport. He was incoherent when EMTs boarded the plane.

In October, cops got a call from neighbors complaining that a frantic Murphy was on her balcony screaming about gunshots being fired near her home in Hollywood.

The noise was found to be coming from a generator.

The skeletons are going to come jumping out of the closet any day now kids.

“His body was discovered in his home on Sunday. The last person to have spoken to him was on Saturday morning. No foul play is suspected, no suicide, it looks like natural causes, just no one knows the exact cause yet.”

Ober’s agent, Mark Measures, confirmed the comedian’s passing but could provide no information as to the cause of his death. Ober’s manager, Lee Kernis, said the comedian was found dead on Sunday, a day after he complained to a friend about a headache and flu-like symptoms.

The show helped launch the careers of Adam Sandler, Denis Leary and Colin Quinn, who made various appearances on the show, acting out sketches that functioned as quiz questions.
